Synchronized Skating
This year, one of our most significant needs is support for team travel. Synchronized skating is a sport that thrives on precision, teamwork, and competition. Traveling together to events allows our athletes to perform at their best, represent Liberty University with grace and excellence, and build lasting bonds that reflect Christ’s love. Your investment helps make these experiences possible and strengthens our presence in the skating community.
We are also pursuing several special projects that directly impact our athletes and enhance our team identity:
Team Dresses
Team Apparel
TaeKwonDo
This year, our most significant needs are improving our new team gear and covering travel expenses. Your support helps us create a space that fosters growth, unity, and excellence.
We are also pursuing several special projects that directly impact our athletes and expand our influence:
Electronic Daedo System
A Fist Suit for Self-Defense Seminars
Test Campaign
The Champion Center Fund
The latest construction project will honor and uphold our mission of Training Champions for Christ.
Strategically located at the heart of Liberty’s sprawling campus with the Blue Ridge mountains as the backdrop, The Champion Center will serve as an extension of the Hancock Welcome Center. It will provide an immersive experience that merges state-of-the-art technology and storytelling to reflect our deep historical roots and desire to remain innovative.
The Champion Center will share Liberty’s history and growth in light of its mission and commitment to training tomorrow’s leaders. It will also serve as the perfect facility to host prospective students and their families.
We invite you to partner with us in making The Champion Center a facility that will continue to proclaim our mission to develop Christ-centered men and women for generations to come.
The Dr. Rakeem Robinson Liberty University Debate Team Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
Dr. Rakeem Robinson, a former Liberty University student debater, embodied the spirit of inquiry, resilience, and unwavering dedication. His infectious enthusiasm left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross paths with him. Despite life's adversities, he stood out as one of the most endearing students Liberty Debate has ever had. Coaches, teammates, and peers alike cherished him.
Tragically, Rakeem's journey was cut short in 2022 when he unexpectedly passed away at the age of 27 due to a severe seizure. His commitment to research—specifically counter-narratives for minority communities regarding mental and physical health—was commendable. Posthumously awarded his Ph.D., Rakeem's legacy continues to inspire us.
The LU Fund: Greatest Need

As stewards of the funds entrusted to us, we accept this God-given responsibility with the knowledge that our ultimate mission is Training Champions for Christ.
The Tom & Christine Dewberry Athletics Missions Fund
The Tom & Christine Dewberry Athletics Missions Fund exists to support spiritual growth in Liberty student-athletes through non-competition based missions trips across multiple teams.
The first trip is scheduled for 2026 and will be a huge impact on the lives of Liberty student-athletes as they seek to impact the world for Christ.
