Under the direction of Coach Dot Richardson and Athletics Director Ian McCaw, the Softball Excellence Fund is used to support the softball program in the areas of strength and conditioning, nutrition, travel, operational expenses, internal NIL, and most importantly spiritual development.

As Liberty Softball continues to rise, a greater investment is needed to provide the resources for championship level recruiting and operational expenses. Your support helps achieve victory on the field and in the classroom.

The Department of Strategic & Personal Communication (SAPC) prepares students for a successful career in the competitive field of communication.

Students learn how and where to tell a brand’s story while catching audiences’ attention across the wide variety of today’s communication channels: social media, digital advertising platforms, top-earned media strategies, and more.

Whatever their calling, students will gain the soft skills needed to effectively communicate and clearly relate to others. Our graduates can be found in a variety of career fields, including business, law, medicine, ministry, and the arts.

Through the Department of Studio & Digital Arts (SADA) at Liberty University, budding young artists can choose degrees to match their interests, with specializations like graphic design and studio art. We also offer minors in Photography, Graphic Design, and Studio Art.

Offering state-of-the-art equipment and technology, SADA helps students shape the visual sphere of our culture as they learn how to educate, entertain, and persuade through the visual arts.

This year, one of our most significant needs is program growth. Bringing in coaching consultants with experience at the highest levels of synchronized skating will provide our team with valuable feedback and expertise to help us develop stronger performances and improve our scores throughout the season. This investment will also help prepare us for our goal of moving up to the collegiate division for the 2027–2028 season.

This year, our most significant needs are team equipment and tournament travel. Your support will help provide our athletes with the equipment they need to train and compete safely and effectively, while also helping cover the costs of traveling to tournaments and competing at the highest level. These opportunities are essential to the continued growth and success of our program.

Dr. Rakeem Robinson, a former Liberty University student debater, embodied the spirit of inquiry, resilience, and unwavering dedication. His infectious enthusiasm left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross paths with him. Despite life's adversities, he stood out as one of the most endearing students Liberty Debate has ever had. Coaches, teammates, and peers alike cherished him.

Tragically, Rakeem's journey was cut short in 2022 when he unexpectedly passed away at the age of 27 due to a severe seizure. His commitment to research—specifically counter-narratives for minority communities regarding mental and physical health—was commendable. Posthumously awarded his Ph.D., Rakeem's legacy continues to inspire us.
