Heroes Fund Scholarship

Liberty University is proud of our country’s heroes who have given so much for our freedom. We know that this freedom comes at a high price for many.

The Heroes Fund Scholarship is offered to service members and honorably discharged veterans who are recipients of the prestigious Purple Heart or who have been rated 50-100% disabled by the Department of Veterans Affairs for “combat-related” Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or “combat-related” injury, illness, or condition.

Eligibility also extends to military spouses whose spouses were killed in action.

Honor College Scholarship

Honors College Scholarship

The Liberty University Honors College trains Champions for Christ, providing high-achieving students with outstanding academic experiences, leadership preparation, service opportunities, and Christian development for their callings.

Students in the College gain the essential knowledge, values, and skills to impact the world for Jesus Christ. They also develop personally and professionally through spiritually enriching and intellectually challenging programs like Eagle Scholars, Honors Scholars, Washington Fellowship, and Quiz Bowl.

Human Performance

This year, our most significant need is funding for a staff conference. This includes tickets, car rental, food, gas, hotels, etc. Our staff would benefit greatly from being able to attend the conference. By attending this conference, our staff will be able to further enhance athletes' knowledge and sports performance.

International Student Center

The C. Daniel Kim International Student Center (ISC) serves over 700 residential students representing over 80 countries on the campus of Liberty University. The ISC represents a tremendous opportunity for the Liberty University community to impact the nations that God is sending to our campus.

LU Send: International Travel Scholarships

We exist to help train Liberty students to become Champions for Christ by creating opportunities to put their faith and education into action around the globe.

LU Serve

LU Serve exists to provide educational and meaningful service opportunities for students to develop into Champions for Christ in Central Virginia and around the world. We provide meaningful service engagement that are designed to enhance a student’s academic, spiritual, and professional lives. As we expose students through experiences like the CSER Expo, CSER, annual meal-packing, Serve Lynchburg, and the Pass It On Campaign, their head, heart, and hands are connected with God’s heart and mission for the world.

LU Serve Now

LU Serve Now is Liberty University’s quick response team for urgent disaster relief and humanitarian needs on a global scale. Our goal is to train, equip, and mobilize students to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need after a disaster occurs. LU Serve Now seeks to be on the ground as soon as the situation is safe and governmental authorities allow for volunteers to respond.  Teams are deployed to assist with the initial recovery, rehabilitation, and repairing of a community, post-disaster.

Liberty Online Academy Scholarship Fund

It is a chance to increase participation of many different groups, including, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and students. In true drum corps style, the 250-member Spirit of the Mountain maintains the highest level of excellence, discipline, and musicianship. Representing nearly every major on campus, this diverse and spirited band is proud to support Liberty University Football as we energize a stadium of 22,000 fans for home football games.

Men's Basketball

Under the direction of Coach Ritchie McKay and Athletics Director Ian McCaw, the Men's Basketball Excellence Fund is used to support the Men's Basketball program in the areas of strength and conditioning, nutrition, travel, operational expenses, internal NIL, and most importantly spiritual development.

As Liberty Basketball continues to rise, a greater investment is needed to provide the resources for championship level recruiting and operational expenses. Your support helps achieve victory on the court and in the classroom.

Men's D1 Hockey

This year, the Men’s D1 Hockey Team is seeking support for several major initiatives that directly strengthen our athletes and expand our impact. Our needs include scholarships for summer hockey campers, helping young players develop their skills and experience high‑level coaching; funding for our Finland missions trip, where our team will serve communities and share their faith internationally; and support for our Hockey Development Center, a vital resource that enhances training, development, and long‑term program growth.

Thank you so much for considering a gift to the Men’s D1 Hockey Team — your generosity truly fuels our mission on and off the ice.
