Giving Day is an opportunity for businesses, alumni, faculty, staff, and supporters to show their support for the mission of Liberty University in the form of a financial gift.  Your gift will be applied directly to the student athlete experience via competition. Your gift is tax deductible, and any gift over $100 will receive a Liberty University Cheerleading pullover jacket.

100% of your contribution goes directly toward supporting our athletes as they prepare for Nationals this year! Competition gives our student-athletes the opportunity to grow, push their limits, and strengthen their skills both on and off the mat. Competition is also a great opportunity to boost the overall student-athlete experience. Every donation—no matter the size—helps cover competition fees, travel, and nutrition as we train for Nationals. With your support, we’ll proudly represent Liberty University on the national stage alongside Power Five schools. Together, we can make this season one to remember!

A Note from Coach Thomason

Liberty University cheerleaders serve as ambassadors for the University through providing thousands of hours of community service each year, hosting youth cheerleading clinics, and attending dozens of community, marketing, and promotional events throughout the year. We support football, men's basketball, and women's basketball both at home and on the road, arriving at each event early to welcome our fans and staying late to ensure the fan experience at Liberty remains top notch. Our team also competes in the 1A Division at UCA College Nationals, a division comprised of the best cheerleading programs in the nation. In 2023 and 2024, our large coed team finished among the top 10 teams at nationals, beating out several Power Five schools for this achievement. In each of these endeavors, our focus remains the same: To glorify Jesus Christ and make Him known through pursuing excellence in cheerleading.

Because of donations like yours, we have created a thriving program that fosters both athletic excellence and personal, academic, and spiritual growth for each of our current student athletes, and equip them with the tools to faithfully serve in their life's calling long after they are done cheering. Your gift to Liberty Cheerleading will have a direct impact on this endeavor. We are so grateful for your support, and are excited for the future of Liberty University cheerleading.

This year, our most significant need is support for future Club Sports missions trips. These opportunities allow our student-athletes to use their sport as a platform to serve others, build relationships, and share the Gospel in meaningful ways. Your investment helps us expand the reach of Liberty Club Sports beyond competition and into global ministry.

We are excited to have a growing cycling program, but with growth we also have growing expenses.  Your support will allow us to provide our athletes equipment and tech to make them better as well as affording us travel expenses for nationals. We appreciate your support to help us bless our athletes.

This year, our most significant need is support for Nationals, which now includes new air travel expenses. This competition provides our athletes with the opportunity to represent Liberty University at the highest level, grow in their sport, and build lasting relationships rooted in faith and teamwork. The purpose of the College of Applied Studies & Academic Success (CASAS) is to facilitate academic, career, and life success from a Christian worldview through purposeful action and dedicated support for our students, faculty, and staff.

Liberty University’s College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) offers a wide variety of degrees that give students a personalized educational experience Arts & Sciences programs. 

Students receive a quality Christian education from experienced professors who are strong in their faith. Each of our departments offers a faith-integrated education that not only prepares students for their vocation but also for life.

At the Helms School of Government, we help develop leaders who are guided by duty, honor, and morality. Teaching classes from a conservative Christian perspective, we offer degrees in the fields of Government, Pre-Law, and Criminal Justice.

Instilling a Christian sense of justice and civic duty in our students, the Helms School of Government helps our students prepare to make positive impacts in our world by teaching the life-changing principle of “service greater than self.”

The Honors College is Training Champions for Christ, providing high-achieving students with outstanding academic experiences, leadership preparation, service opportunities, and Christian development for their callings. 

Students in the John W. Rawlings School of Divinity are trained in the skills to engage today’s culture with the Gospel and impact the world for God’s kingdom. Our degree programs allow students to gain real-world experience through internships in local churches and parachurch organizations all over America and the world. 

The Dean’s Excellence Fund at the School of Aeronautics helps to prepare Christian leaders for their chosen field of aviation whether this be in military, commercial, or missionary areas. This Fund helps to sponsor crucial initiatives such as our aviation safety program, support for students who plan to serve on the mission field, and purchase necessary maintenance and flight training equipment. Liberty’s cutting-edge technology and training makes our graduates some of the most sought after in the nation.
